Round One FY 2008 - DGP Demand

In response to the two APSs:

  • 41 Missions applied for participation with requests totaling $129 million covering 88 different sector activities
  • 27 participating Missions received a total of 511 Concept Papers from potential applicants totaling nearly $429.5 million
  • 119 were from US-based Private Voluntary Organizations (USPVOs) and 389 were from Local Non-Governmental Organizations (LNGOs)
  • 113 organizations, including 36 USPVOs and 77 LNGOs, submitted full applications
  • 78 full applications were received from 30 USPVOs and 43 LNGOs
  • 65 full applications were accepted from 19 USPVOs and 46 LNGOs
  • 61 grants were made to 60 organizations in 26 countries
